Welcome to nourish and heal with the practice of love!
Jem (Chan Phap Ho) will lead us in meditations and simple qigong movements as well as offer his experience and insights about cultivating and living in love. Buddhist teachings on True Love as transmitted by Zen Master Thich Nhat Hanh will be at the core of this weekend. Jem is also inspired and influenced by other spiritual traditions and he will weave together practices and teachings that will help us touch deeper love and peace as well as have more concrete ways to implement love into our daily lives.
Jem has been a Buddhist Dharma Teacher since 2010. Thich Nhat Hanh is his teacher and Jem lived in the Plum Village Community of Engaged Buddhism as a Buddhist monk between 2003-2020. He now lives in Klippan, Skåne, with his wife Emma.
This course has it´s base in the Buddhist tradition and in Thich Nhat Hanh´s (Thay) legacy. True love include the immesurable mind/heart states of loving kindness, compassion, sympathetic joy and equanimity. We will also explore respect and trust that Thay has added.
Jem also draws inspiration from Yeshua (Jesus in Aramaic) and Mary Magdalene´s teaching and example as well as indiginous elders and Sufi master poetry.
